Nutricote Total 360 Professional Controlled Release Fertilizer 18-6-8 contains NPK (slow-release Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium, magnesium, and micronutrients in a controlled release prill. You only need to apply this product once every 12 months, which is great as it minimizes your work and provides your plant with 1 year worth of ideal plant nutrients.
The amount of fertilizer application depends on the size of your plant but it is usually measured by gallon size. Each plant requirement is different though so do your research! This polymer-coated fertilizer will release the nutrients slowly over a 1 year period of time. Keeping the soil moist will help the quick release of ingredients to the cooling soil. The thickness of the coating dissolves over time.
The nutrient release rates will vary depending on soil moisture and soil temperatures.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING TIME RELEASE FERTILIZER:
1 bag of high-quality nutricote fertilizer weighs 1 lb and can be used as you desire around your garden.
New plant installation: dig your hole, place the plant’s root ball in the hole, and sprinkle water-soluble fertilizer around the root ball of the plant before you backfill with your soil.
For existing plants: Either sprinkle on the soil above ground and cover with mulch or to prevent any runoff, dig several small holes around the base of your plant filling the hole with fertilizer and putting a bit of soil or organic matter on top of the hole when finished.
Keep away from children and pets. This plant food is harmful if ingested. This is not organic fertilizer, it is synthetically made, but every ingredient is beneficial to all plants and trees.
