Plant Bio

Spathiphyllum 

Peace Lily was bred in the Netherlands in 1995 and was patented by its creator in 1997. This variety features fragrant, long-lasting white flowers when grown in bright, indirect light and has a lush, full look compared to older varieties. Like most Peace Lilies, it will tolerate low light, but it won’t grow as full, nor will it flower as well (if at all). It’s happiest in warm temperatures (protect it from conditions cool than 50F/10C) and average to above-average household humidity levels. If the plant dries out too much, is exposed to hot or cold drafts, or is grown in excessively low humidity, the leaf edges may turn brown and crispy.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Given myself a couple weeks of consistent use before giving a review. There are a lot of pros to this product which include: moisturizing and stays moisturized all day, made my PIE marks (post acne marks) fade a lot faster. Repairs my skin barrier, especially while using tretinoin nightly, not too thick but thick enough to keep my face hydrated. It does not have a smell. The cons are: slight burn for about 15 seconds but disappears, it pills if I apply too much. It does pill less if I pat it on my face versus rubbing; it does not pill when I apply liquid foundation. I just have to let it dry for 15-20 mins before applying makeup. I found the pros to overpower the cons and will continue to use this product.
