Zoey Scoop-Back, by Wear Your Love

When designing Zoey, it was with the elegant bride in mind. She embodies effortless beauty and femininity, in a classic and understated way.  She wants all the romance, and all of the joy of getting married, without compromising her individual style or her comfort. We see the Zoey bride as a laid-back natural beauty with incandescent poise, and of course, a free spirit.

Every curve of this dress is so soft it begs to be worn. The lace used in the bodice and sleeves was chosen for its body-hugging and luxurious feel.  The organic cotton, beautifully silky chiffon, and soft English tulle fabrics chosen for the skirt create three ethereal layers that come to life with movement, making magic with every step taken.

The undisputed star of the show with Zoey is the hand-cut and carefully placed lace motif design that adorns the neckline and sleeve cuffs, in that perfectly imperfect, effortlessly graceful way we love so much.  And, with our Zoey Scoop-Back, we’ve taken the detailing to the next-level with an open back completely finished in hand-cut floral lace motifs.

Zoey is the kind of dress that never goes out of style; the kind you’ll love forever, and you’ll never forget how good it feels to wear.

As with all of our wedding gowns, the Zoey is made to each individual bride’s exact measurements. After your order is placed we will send your measurement guide to you, which will direct you through the process of providing the precise measurements we need to create your gown to your unique shape. This includes your torso length, arm length, bust, waist, and hip size, as well as your arm width, and overall height, along with several other measurements.  This means your Zoey gown will be made to fit your one-of-a-kind body like a glove.

  • Lace and skirt are soft-white in color (slightly less bright than pure white)
  • Front and back of bodice are fully lined
  • Bodice lining color options include: Ivory, Natural, or Nude
  • Swatches will be sent to you when you place your order so that you can choose your color options
  • Soft foam bust cups can be sewn in by request
  • Designed for the waistline to fall at the natural waist (the sample dress may appear different on various models shown)
  • Pairs beautifully with the Sara Belt
  • Three skirt layers: organic cotton, beautifully silky chiffon, and soft English tulle

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.

Great Comic
Format: Kindle
Wolverine is one of my favorite Marvel characters. He encapsulates the paradox for young adolescent boys. He’s everything we wish to be, and at the same time, everything we would be terrified to be.

A huge book that gives you the hero's beginnings.
Format: Hardcover
I own several Marvel Omnibus collections (Captain America, Miller's Daredevil run, etc) but I have to say I think this one is the biggest in terms of thickness. This has a serious page count, and is definitely worth the money you spend on it for size alone. Those coming off the Wolverine movie and interested in more of his back-story will enjoy most of this. The stories here are not put together in chronological order of publication, but rather in chronological order of when it supposedly happened in his life. That being said, it's odd that Marvel chose to leave out "Origin", since that six-part story would have made an obvious choice for the beginning of this collection. Instead, we start out with a number of "Weapon X" stories that are supposed to set the stage for his creation into a weapon. The stories are not easy to follow for a casual read, however. You'll have to invest time reading dozens of dialogue balloons over the constantly-resting pose of Logan with wires coming out of him. Not the best start they could have hoped for, but I can see the logic of it. The Wolverine/Kitty Pryde miniseries is also here for some reason. I guess its inclusion into the collection is for completist purposes, but it's not that great. Eventually, you reach the Frank Miller Wolverine mini-series that started it all and paved the way for his solo series later on. If you've read that one, you know it's a classic as we get more back story into his Samurai/Ninja training past (and it's also rumored to be the basis for the second Wolverine solo film if it gets made). This leads into the first 10 issues of his solo series as we meet Logan's "Patch" identity, his weird black "facepaint mask" costume, and the dark dealings of Madripor. The colors here are rich and vibrant. Those who were disappointed with the washed-out look of the "Essentials" collection of Wolverine stuff will find nothing but happiness here. The price is reasonable for what you're getting here. Let me say again though that this is a MONSTER of a book, so you won't be carrying this around for a casual read at the coffee shop. This is more along the lines of a serious collector book than those Essential volumes.

A bloody walk down memory lane.
Format: Hardcover
This massive volume collects all of Wolverine's earliest stories from his very violent history. Instead of being collected chronologically in order of first appearance, this book tells Logan's painful story as it happened to him. Beginning with Marvel Comics Presents #1-10; we see the excruciating process that turned him into Weapon X. After that, it's his first appearance in Incredible Hulk #180-182. That's followed up by the classic 4-issue Chris Claremont/ Frank Miller miniseries, and X-Men #172-173. We also Kitty Pryde and Wolverine #1-6, Captain America annual 8, Spider-Man vs. Wolverine, Punisher War Journal 6-7 and Wolverine #1-10, amongst others. This book is currently out of print, so good luck finding a copy. If you track one down, expect to pay a pretty penny for it, as I did. As a Wolverine fan, however, this is a must-have collection
